Difficult extractions or retained roots

Sometimes, your dentist might not be comfortable in extracting a difficult tooth, or there might be roots left in situ following a previous extraction attempt. Your OMFS surgeon will use the same principles as per wisdom teeth extractions, to remove these teeth or roots. The location of the tooth or root determines the ease of the procedure, and your OMFS surgeon will discuss in detail.
